Absurd
Directed by Giselle Meskin, “ABSURD” is an experimental fashion film, starring Sophia Semczuk and Maya Sang. In collaboration with music producer Maya Sang, sound bites from Donetalla Versace, Lana Del Rey, and a crying baby constitute the auditory absurdity while jump cuts and editing distort the visual. The nonsensical film, reflecting the general tone of absurd, is the merging of director’s personal passions: fashion and film. “ABSURD” was displayed at the 2023 Young Artists Exhibition at the Katonah Museum of Art. The film was again displayed at selected AMC theaters in NYC in the 2023 All American High School Film Festival.

The Hotgirl Hotline
"The Hotgirl Hotline" is an organization sworn to "protecting the girls everywhere while killing men anywhere." In this Charlie's Angel's inspired, feminist-comedy, the agents of the women-only syndicate set out to kill one of the most dangerous sectors of men on planet earth: an incel. "The Hotgirl Hotline" is a reminder that women must protect other women, and that together, we are stronger.
Duality of Self
In conversation with Ava Bashew, "Duality of Self" explores the detachment and reconnection between the good and the bad parts of ourselves, present within every human being. The fight bounded by these emotional opposites is displayed through the divide between Ava's actions. Viewers are reminded that even in times of emotional strife, we heal and we survive.
